What we do
How we protect your information We use security measures that meet federal law, including computer
safeguards and secure buildings/files.
How we collect your information We collect information when you:
- Apply for financing
- Provide income, employment, account, or contact details
- Work with us during the purchase or service processWe may also get information from credit bureaus and
other companies.
Why you can’t limit all sharing Federal law only lets you limit:
- Sharing about your creditworthiness with affiliates
- Affiliates using your info to market to you
- Sharing with non-affiliates for their marketingSince AUA doesn’t share in these ways, there’s nothing for
you to limit.
Definitions
Affiliates – Companies related by ownership or control. AUA does not share with affiliates.
Non-affiliates – Companies not related to AUA. AUA does not share with non-affiliates for marketing.
Joint marketing – Formal agreements between non-affiliated companies to offer financial products or services.
AUA works with finance companies under joint marketing.
